As a Landscape Photographer I enjoy the challenge and opportunity that photography provides!  Shooting and teaching landscape photography provides an opportunity for me to search for unique light and color that is created by the interaction of weather, mountains, and oceans.

As an instructor I enjoy working with workshop participants to improve technique and vision and help them become better photographers.

I have spent many years shooting in all types of conditions.   With the experience, knowledge,  and expertise I have gained, it provides a great opportunity for me to share through private instruction and workshops.

Personally I am drawn to the interesting weather patterns and light that is created by nature when weather and terrain combine to create unique and interesting photographic opportunities.

As a student I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and I am a licensed Professional Engineer in the Sate of California. My Engineering background has given me the ability to use my camera as a tool to express my artistic vision of the landscape.

I also have the privilege of working with my wife to raise 4 wonderful children. My family has been very supportive and allowed me the time to develop my photographic abilities. I appreciate their support!

In 2012 and 2013 I will be teaching a variety of Photography Workshops in conjunction with Don Smith.  In addition I am offering private instruction and guidance in Yosemite beginning in 2012.
